A professional actor friend of mine recently became blind. I would like to see him get involved in theatre in his hometown area. Do you know of any theatre in the NY-Hudson Valley area that is blind person friendly? I thought I found a website for a paraprofessional performing group made up of disabled actors in the Hudson Valley earlier this summer. Any information anyone could send me would be extremely appreciated. Thank you.

The NADC web-site is very "accessible". I am looking artists or arts administrators with disabilities who would be willing to serve as panelists for the Ohio Arts Council. We have established a policy that states we will have one or more people with disabilities on all of our panelists. So I need about 15-20 potential panelists. They should have some arts experience and be willing to review 25-60 applications (depending on which panel they owuld be assigned, i.e performing arts, design, traditional arts, visual, media, etc)WE pay $125 per day honorium and we cover hotel, transportation and meals. We will also provide assistance tailored to the panelists needs. If youknow of individuals who meet this criteria and is interested, please forward. Thank you!
